How To Prevent a Possible Infestation In Your House?!
Let’s be honest, if you have bugs or vermin in your flat that’s a serious issue. There’s nothing to hide as this problem happens very often, especially in such a big city like London!
To minimise the risk of this difficulty, see our easy to follow recommendations.
1. Remember to clean your kitchen regularly and ensure that all food packages are closed and dry.
2. Try not to eat in your room and remember to vacuum any breadcrumbs left – which are very attractive to mice.
3. Infestations usually occur in areas of the home with high humidity, so make sure to properly ventilate your space.
4. Try not to put your bag/backpack on the floor in the public places.
5. Ensure all common areas including outside of the flat are free of trash and debris.
6. Wash your bedlinens and towels regularly (at least once per week)
However, if you spot bugs or any other insects please follow these steps immediately:
1. Kindly inform us to admin@mcqueenapartments.com about the matter as soon as possible. There is nothing to hide and very often the problem is quite serious. Look for them under the mattress, box spring, bed, on the floor, the corners and on the carpet.
2. Wash all your bedlinens, towels, kitchen towels in very high temperature. Clear up any clutter left on the floor.
3. Hoover your room as well as all the common areas carefully and remember to clean the hoover bags afterwards to avoid spreading it to the entire flat.
4. Luggage is a great way for insects to enter into your home after you have been on travel. Be careful to check your luggage and its contents.
5. See your GP if you spot bites on your skin or itchy red marks on your body.
6. In most of the cases pest control is the necessary step, therefore kindly follow the recommendations provided.
7. After a carefully wash, keep your belongings in a tidy way, pack them in a plastic bag to avoid spreading the infestation all over the place.
We also ask you to cooperate in your best possible way. We care about all our clients and we want to avoid the dispersion of insects to the other parts of the flat.
